Got a bit delayed but here is photos from the Reign Over Me Premiere in New York on March 20, 2007. Saffron looks absolutly stunning as usual! :heart:

Seems like Perfect Creature is gonna be released on DVD in The Netherlands and 20th Century Fox who bought the US rights has not given a date on when it will be released there. You can view the trailer for now and a DVD cover has been released as well. Looks good! (The trailer is in Windows Media Player, and it didn’t work for me, so don’t contact me if it doesn’t work for you. Because I can’t do anything!)

I also found some photos from the theatre play The Earthly Paradise, which Saffron did some years ago. The photos are lovely and in great quality!

Quite the opposite. In fact, this film—about opposites—is a crowning reflection of…life, however damaged or flawed.

ImageHealthy male bonding is the focus here, and the friendship story in Reign Over Me does what a love story did for Titanic—takes a traumatic event (in this case, 9/11) and reduces it to the human level. The result is that you’re not looking at a disaster: you’re looking at one soul’s experience of a disaster. After all, that is how we relate to each other—1:1.

The film successfully navigates delicate territory. We are still raw. We are still hurting. We don’t like having this scab ripped off and picked at. And Reign Over Me makes the hole—the two holes—feel very fresh, but it is so tender with its characters, and with us, that we are willing to listen. We are willing to stay—even if we have to wince and whimper to get through it. Charlie’s (Adam Sandler) behavior is wildly inappropriate at times, but the context is always there, and we are sympathetic.
